From the estate auctions directly to you!

We have been collecting retro and vintage knitting patterns from estate auctions and scanning them .  These patterns date to the 1940's and earlier.  The patterns we find are in very old knitting books.  The first patterns we are posting are from Juvenile Styles Volume 4 published in 1941.  The pattern is for a convalescing jacket ensemble in shell pink with turquoise smocking.

Below is a picture of the finished mother and baby jacket.  The materials required are:

1 pair of Nos. 3 and 7 American Standard needles,

8 one ounce balls of knitting yarn for the mother's jacket,

2 one ounce balls of knitting yarn for the baby's jacket,

One-half ounce of contrasting shade for the baby's jacket
